Hair Build Up Remover
Has your hair ever felt heavy, oily and dirty despite washing… like all those products just aren’t washing out? This simple, dirt cheap recipe will fix that nasty problem and your hair will feel like new again.
You will need:
· One 4 ounce, clean squirt bottle (or larger)
· 2 ounces Water
· 2 ounces Apple Cider Vinegar
· 2-3 drops Rosemary Essential Oil or Lavender Essential Oil
Mix everything in the bottle. Shampoo as usual, and rinse well. Squeeze excess water out of your hair, and squirt about half the mixture into your hair. I have very long hair, so I use all 4 ounces. The cold water and vinegar feel so nice in a steamy hot shower and the rosemary EO is very invigorating. If using lavender, you’ll feel incredibly relaxed. Massage the mixture into your scalp and let it sit in your hair for a few minutes. Rinse and use a little conditioner if needed.
VoilĂ ! Perfectly clean and shiny hair!

I'll have to try this!! Thanks for posting it! :)
I'm going to try that!
I've been using an apple cider/water rinse for years! I add less essential oil and find it equally effective (and safer too). :)
I use to work in a hair salon and we would put shampoo in our hand, and then put some baking soda on top and make it like a paste, wash into hair and let stand for a minute, then rinse out....works and is super cheap.
